Friday things

I'm back with some Friday things. Last two weeks have been a bit crazy around here. Friday before last was storming really bad and the power was off for several hours. The storm didn't pass until late in the day and by the time the laptop battery gave out. Then last Friday we helped some of my parent's friends move, even on Easter Sunday, so we were beat by the time we came home. But here we are this week and here are some things that have been happening the last couple of weeks.

1. This fishing trip.

I took a fishing trip with my mom and dad a few days ago and we tried to catch some trout, but nothing was biting. I got to try out my new fishing pole and play with some salamanders, so that was a lot of fun. My dad showed me ways to cast my pole and my mom took a lot of pictures. We all had a good time.

2. This cat.

My cat Eleven is growing big! She's so curious of everything and likes to bat things around. She's funny to watch sometimes, but she's still afraid of some things and doesn't like to be picked up a lot.

3. This game room.

We went to Dave and Buster's with our friend Charlie and MacKenzie and it was a blast! We played games and ate pizza almost all night long!

4. This train.

5. This cup.

To water the small cactus we are growing. It used to be my dad's cup when he was growing up and he used it to water his cactus he named Pokey. So now we have Pokey 3 and Pokey 4. The Pokey 2 name was for a cactus my mom and dad got before I was born and they had in Arkansas. It grew to be almost six-feet-tall, but it didn't survive the Oregon climate and died. :( Hopefully these two will make it and we can keep them growing tall!

Friday things

1. This Book

A book I have been waiting for awhile and I was able to get it through Paperbackswap.com. Look at my profile on there here.

2. This Dinner Out

My parents took me to the Old Spaghetti Factor and it used to be an old train depot, so that was cool.

3. This Food.

Cleaning out things we found these old food container for my hermit crabs. It makes me sad to know they are all gone now.

4. My Dogs.

Hardy (PITA) and Baz (Swells). Pretty neat dogs really. Hardy is eight and Baz is 16.

5. This Hamburger Place.

It's called Junkyard Burger along 99E between Junction City and Harrisburg, also their hamburgers are huge, plus their decor is old train stuff, so it was a cool place to eat.

Look how big that thing is!

Happy Friday! Cheek out my moms blog here!
