Not Quite Sure What We Found

As Jeff and Skylar were cleaning up the garden area for the winter, Jeff found a very peculiar looking insect. At least we think it is an insect. If you know what it is, let us know.

Skylar was a cloud for Halloween and as the Halloween holiday approaches I actually look forward to hearing Skylar's creative costume ideas. This year's was wonderful and I simply can't wait till next year.

We used a light gray sweat suit and hot glued pillow batting all over the suit. We used the same concept for the hat with a beanie. One family thought he was the Stay-Puft Marshmallow man. Which, the same idea could be used for that costume as well. Just pair it with a few sailor-type clothing.

Skylar had a blast being a cloud for Halloween, but at the end of the treat-or-treating night, he was ready to go home.

Pumpkin Carving Fun

After picking out the right pumpkins, then came the fun part, cleaning them out and carving a face into them. Skylar LOVES it, well so does Daddy and Mommy too.

Skylar found his Name in the Alphabets Cereal

Skylar found his name and had to have me take a picture of it the other morning. I was so pleased he was able to pull his name out of the cereal pieces. He was so excited that the Alphabets cereal makers put his name in the box too.

Taking another Road Trip

Skylar loves our road trips we take and every time we take off he grabs his "Cars" travel blanket that Kensie got him for Christmas last year. The first time we used it was camping at Beverly Beach on the Pacific Coast here in Oregon. The blanket came with a round pillow as well and works out great for road trips. Daddy plans so many, so we are sure to end up somewhere new soon, and the blanket will be right there will us too.

Helping "Mater" take Mommies Blazer to get Fixed

Skylar simply loves tow-trucks and when the Blazer's fuel pump went out and had to be towed for repair; Skylar thought this was the coolest thing. He really thought it was awesome when the driver let him push the buttons to load it on the hauler.
