We have a speller!
Skylar did so great on his last two spelling test I just had to treat him to LimeBerry Yogurt for all his hard work.
What a super class this year!
Building a bear at the Build a Bear Workshop
As a treat we took Skylar to the Build a Bear Workshop. I will say, this is one place a child and parent should experience in their lifetime, it is quite fun.
Picking out his bear and growl/voice. Skylar went with a camo teddy bear and picked out a dinosaur growl for him.
He also picked out a heart for the bear and the workshop helper began stuffing it.
She had him make the heart a strong one and build up its confidence before putting it inside the teddy bear.
After she sewed it up Skylar got to wash him and give him a bath before putting its clothes on.
He picked out a fireman coat, pants, and a hat for his bear then sat down and picked out a cool name for it.
He named it YODA.
He typed in his information and typed in the name YODA for the birth certificate.
We boxed up YODA the growling bear and took him home to his new home.
